Changing My Thought Process

changing my thought processSomething came to me today more so than it ever has before. I’m learning to change the way I think, the way I act, the way that in the past was not the norm for me. I’m learning to create new habits. I’m learning to go out of my comfort zone. I’m learning to adapt to what should have always been routine. I’m Changing my thought process.

Yes, I’m changing my thought process for the better. More so I’m changing my behavior. I’m looking at things in a whole different light. Today was a day that I proved that example to myself. I woke up and knew I was working out today at the gym. What I didn’t know till last minute is that I would decide to walk instead of drive there like I would have done in the past because it would have been so easy to do so.

My gym is only a mile away from the house. Today I decided to walk to and back and get my workout in as well. In the past I would have just drove there and back. Why? Like I said previous because it was so easy, Easy doesn’t cut it for me anymore.

So a day like today where I know I was going to be hanging out with friends watching football and sitting on my bum. I decided to walk the mile there and back and get my workout in.

Hard Work and Dedication is what’s gonna cut it for me as I get to where I’m going. A lotta sweat and a lotta tears. Maybe even some blood along the way. It’s these little things for me that turn into big results.

I’m not waiting for the new year to make changes, I’ve already started.

What are some of the things that you’re doing now to make changes in your life mentally or physically?

  1. you’re doing awesome, Jess! my latest change in thought process is pretty simple but has been strong -” if i don’t buy it, i won’t eat it.” so easy it’s crazy!

  2. I LOVE these changes! They make a huge impact. I usually take the train on stop past my house and then walk home after work. It clears my mind. Even on the really cold or really hot days. I swear it even makes me a little tired and less hungry :)

    • I know what you mean. I’ll be honest working out and walking makes me forget about food. It makes me crave water though and I think that fills me up and keeps me satisfied.
